About Comet

Canadian flagBased in Canada

Built by riders,
for riders in Toronto

Comet is a Canadian motorcycle apparel company based out of a small workshop in Toronto, Ontario. We ride the same grid, the same highways and the same shoulder seasons as you do — and that shows up in every piece we spec. Our gear is designed in Toronto and made with carefully selected manufacturing partners.

Our story

From a Toronto garage to the grid

Comet started the way most good things do — with two friends, a cold garage in the east end of Toronto, and a shared complaint that the gear on the shelf was either safe and ugly, or sharp and paper-thin.

We ride year-round in this city. That means spring salt on the DVP, humid August nights down Queen West, and October mornings where you can see your breath on the 400 heading north. We wanted jackets, helmets and jeans that could take all of it — and still look like they belonged to a rider, not a catalogue.

So we started Comet: a Toronto-based brand focused on clear product details, practical riding apparel and a shopping experience that respects the people who ride here.

The community

We're part of the Toronto scene

Toronto’s motorcycle community is the reason Comet exists. The city’s mix of commuters, weekend riders and long-distance routes keeps our focus on practical gear and straightforward support.

We’re here to listen, learn and grow with riders across the 416, the 905 and the rest of Canada. If you need help choosing a product, talk to us before you order.

What we stand for

Four things we won't bend on

Rider-founded

Started by two Toronto riders who got tired of choosing between looking good and staying protected.

No fake certs

Every CE and ECE rating is the real paperwork, in the box. We don't stamp logos on untested shells.

Built to be repaired

Sliders, liners and armour are replaceable — gear you keep, not gear you bin after one season.

Tested on real roads

Prototypes ride the Don Valley, the 400 north and cottage country before they ever ship.
